Standing appointments

The six-week colour is the one they forget

The appointments most likely to slip are the ones booked furthest ahead — the standing colour, the four-week barber cut, the monthly set. Rebook those in your calendar the way you already do. Every recurring appointment gets its own reminder automatically, and the client can confirm by replying.

The booking page is there for the other half of the diary: new clients and one-off slots, booked without a phone call.

Common questions

Do I have to move my calendar or my client list? +

No. SMS Reminder works on the Google Calendar you already use. You connect your account, add a phone number to an appointment, and reminders send automatically.

Can clients book a standing appointment themselves? +

Not yet — the booking page takes one-off appointments. You rebook standing slots in your calendar the way you do now, and every recurring appointment still gets its own reminder automatically.

Can clients reply to a reminder? +

Yes. Clients reply in plain language to confirm or cancel and the app answers automatically, or they tap the link in the message. To reschedule, they ask by reply and pick a new time on the booking page.

Can each stylist have their own calendar? +

Yes. Plans include multiple calendars, so each stylist or booth renter can keep their own and still be covered. The number of calendars and users depends on the plan.

Is there a salon booking app that syncs with Google Calendar? +

Yes. SMS Reminder includes a booking page that books straight into Google Calendar.
